Eugenia Jiménez was launched as a company devoted to the design and creation of hats in 2005, although prior to that Eugenia had worked in different workshops. Largely self-taught restless spirit has spurred her on-going learning drive, with constant research into the field and a willingness to use all the most up-to-date materials and techniques.
She uses traditional hat-making techniques and traditions from times gone by, adapted to new technologies and new materials. She is known for her hand-made pieces, created from scratch, all cared for to the last detail so as to achieve an impeccable finish, the fundamental base of a high fashion milliner.
Her success is due to a potent mix of love, dedication and persistence, the fundamental ingredients of all good work. The passion she has for her craft means that every one of her creations is truly a labour of love.
This Passion for the craft of hat-making has led her to organise “ Alcor Hat Week “, as well as the first international Hat contest organized in Spain, with the aim of promoting and helping all milliners starting out in the world of hat design.
